Maddy is a stubborn kind-hearted independent woman determined to take care of everyone else while neglecting herself. She takes care of everyone else so she doesn't have to take time to get a life of her own because she is afraid to give her heart away again. William and Maddy are so perfect for each other because they are both missing an important part of their lives and the only way to get it back is to learn to love again.

In Dragon Warrior William and Maddy struggle to find the way to love while battling evil and wrangling senior citizens. Janet Chapman weaves sensuous, suspense, and slapstick together like no other can. Dragon Warrior evokes a multitude of emotion. I was laughing, crying, and smiling all while on the edge of my seat during Dragon Warrior. I marked so many quotable things while reading Dragon Warrior but there were simply too many to choose from. There are tons of characters in Dragon Warrior and be prepared to get attached to them all. Ms. Chapman has developed a lovely town filled with unique people that will worm their way into your heart and take up residence. Dragon Warrior is the second book in the Midnight Bay Trilogy but the first I have read. I didn't find it hard to follow but I will be going back to read Moolight Warrior because I absolutely must read Kenzie and Eve's story!

Fireworks explode in Dragon Warrior unleashing a terrific story that will melt your heart. I for one can't wait to read it again!

Janet Chapman continues the saga of the Scottish clan sent forward in time and the lsot souls that they are here to help. She weaves a wonderful tale about how each soul finds peace and happiness in this time while keeping us up with the folks she has already written about. I loved each story and will read each one again.
It's a fun and captivating read. I laughed and I cried as I got to know the characters. Wow, is all I can say!!!
Janet Chapman never disappoints. This story has all the required romance ingredients sexy leading man/dragon and woman who is intrigued by the man and his story. Add in a mystery and you have the perfect book. Don't forget to read the other books in the trilogy - Moonlight Warrior and Mystical Warrior and meet the other sexy beasts!
Janet Chapman captures the essence of dragon lore and humor. Who would imagine a man trapped in a dragon's body forced to live out his life as the most vile creature in anyones imagination. But he travel's through time to find the one person he thinks can help him break the spell cast on him. While he is trying to break this spell he finds a woman who makes him feel like a man again and in a moment of clarity he changes from dragon to man. Ms Chapman gives her Irish hero, from the 9th century, arrogance befitting a lord of his time, charm, empathy for the elderly he see's as those with all the wisdom and more than a little brawn and good looks. Her heroine doesn't want his attention but with a little perserverance and some help from the seniors at the Nursing Home she soon let's her hero sweep her off her feet.
I just finished this book and it made me laugh and cry. The character's were great. Imagine a Scotsman from a different century coming to ours. It's quite funny especially when he can't figure out to drive a vehicle. Then put him with a bunch of cute elderly at a nursing home and you got a great story. Oh and don't forget romance. Great story. I didn't know this was a trilogy till I got to the end and found out there is another book coming which I can't wait to read since it's about another of the characters that was in this book. Also I am going back and reading book 1.
Janet Chapman is a brilliant writer from beginnning to end you are wrapped up in the story. If you get your hands on any of Janet Chapman books you wont be dissapointed, she knows how to weave her magic around a story.

If you buy this book you will also have to purchase Midnight Warrior, Mystical Warrior in the series and the whole Spellbound Falls series and all of course the Pine Creek Highlander books are a must because the stories are a continuation.

So read all of the Pine Creek Highlander series first, then the Midnight Bay series and then read the Spellbound Falls series. You wont be dissapointed I loved every book and I would read them again, there isn't a bad book in the bunch.
