*This is a review of an erotic short story. I've attempted to be delicate in my explanations, but there are references to sexual acts and quotes from the book. There may also be spoilers.*Editing:
There were unfinished sentences and sentences that didn't make sense. For example, when talking to her cat, the character says "I should have you never had you neutered. It might have done you some good to have gotten your evil little heart broken."
"I should have you never had you neutered" doesn't make sense. In addition, the phrase "to have gotten" is so painful it makes me cringe.
There was one misuse of "your" and numerous randomly placed periods and commas. Several sequences of dialogue didn't have any quotes. In other spots, there were quotes when no one was talking. Sometimes, character thoughts were in quotes while other times they weren't.
The Story:
In a scene with Michael, Kelly "tilted and rubbed her crotch against" or does something related to the movement of her crotch. Unless the two characters were sitting opposite of each other, scissoring their inseams together, she wasn't tilting her crotch, she was tilting her pelvis or hips. Even though this was an erotic short story, I'm sure that the author was still attempting to convey that the characters were sexy. Just my opinion, but I find the word "crotch" to be crass, disgusting, and not sexy. It really detracted from the feel of the moment.
Kelly's "crotch tilting" leads to arousal. Descriptions of her arousal are disturbing. At one point, Kelly can "feel slippery oils dripping," she "spilled more heated oil," and started "gushing sticky white fluids." "Oily and white" is not normal for the fluids of female arousal and probably indicates a problem requiring medical attention.
This first story was an attempt to introduce all characters, give their background stories, and establish that the characters are going to begin a relationship. In accomplishing all those things in one book, the characters turned out being shallow and the story was rushed and unbelievable.

I am really interested in seeing how the events unfold at the "club". I feel like her character had some depth but feel like his character wasn't developed as well in this first book, but feel that my experiences with Lucia Jordan's work that he will be a fully developed character soon. I can't wait.
This is a forbidden love affair. This is part one of four. It is a good read. I would like to know how it ends between Michael and Kelly.
Kelly has been working her way up the business ladder. When the news came out that a new boss was in town, she wanted to make sure she did her best. The new boss was very intrigued with this woman from day one. On one of their late nights they ended up at dinner, then they ended up having dessert in the parking garage. Michael was very curious with her, that he invited her to an exclusive club. The story was very short but a good intro for the next book.
Book 1 is way too short, but I did like the story. Many mistakes in editing though. I think 2 books should be combined into one making it a 2 series book read; or, better yet, just combine the 4 books into one. It took me about 30 minutes to read, but since it was free I have to say it's good.
Kelly Miller worked hard to earn her degree, advance in her job and came in early and worked late most days to get her job done. Michael Adams the new boss for her department had a similar background and worked the same type of hours Kelly did. He noticed her dedication and loyalty to the company. Touch Passionate Encounter tells of Kelly Miller and her first sexual encounter with her new boss Michael Adams.
The story could use an edit but the character build up was good, the plot was reasonable and it is another book by installments...
Kelly coming off of a break up with a boyfriend who cheated on her, repeatedly, she meets her new boss. Michael fells an instant attraction to the beautiful lady on the elevator, only when he follows her off does he realize her one of his new employees. Impressed with her work ethic and honesty he finds himself doing the unthinkable and asks her to dinner after which he samples her as dessert. Next day he wishes to introduce her to BDsM and more fun times.
I actually give this a 3.5
It's short but good enough and leaves me wanting more.
This story starts off with Kelly throwin her cheating ex-boyfriends stuff out of the window. She lost her boyfriend and best friend in that discovery and to top all that off she has to go into work the next day and met her new boss.
Kelly and Michael both work hard, they come in early and leave late. One night they are the last to leave and he asked her to grab a bite to eat before going home. When they return to the parking garage things really heat up.
The next day he surprises her at his request.
Cannot wait for part 2. It was hot and sexy plus we got a little backstory with characters and not just sex sex sex.
